Who We Are
NaNil, a software practice for iPhone and Mac platforms, was founded by independent developers Sean Willson and Brawnski Armstrong. This team has been working together for over 10 years and started a business for iPhone development shortly after the opening of Apple's App Store. After releasing the Fairway application to the App Store in 2008, NaNil collaborated with Prairie Design Group to design and develop the FanGuide Tour & Audio Companion series, which includes four titles releasing to the Apple App Store in November 2009.
What We Do
NaNil exists as a collaboration between the creative, the disciplined, and the passionate to design software, applications, and products. We are inspired by software that has a singular aesthetic. This is a aesthetic that we would rather not name, but is common to all well functioning software in its inevitable form. Software that is innovative, yet consistent in every detail; applications that satisfy visceral needs and utilitarian demands; products that dissolve complexity in a solution of transparency and parsimony. Of course, some may determine that our solution to software design is not only wrong, but also intractable. However, we believe our ideals to be complete and verifiable in the aesthetics of our works.
